OK, here's the deal: Like i said, you send us your "tape."
Basically, any format is acceptable: CD, tape, minidisc, vinyl and,
god-forbid, even 8-track. Whenever possible, let's try to stick with
original, unreleased material. Outside of that, it's no holds barred. Stuff
from a live show? Fine. 4 track experiment? Love it. Messages from your
answering machine? How original. You get the idea.
If things pick up, it may become difficult to play all 9 sets from
your last basement show, so help us out by just sending what you'd really
like everyone to hear. This way everyone will get a chance to get lai...er,
excuse me, played. i'm not going to lie to you, we will, from time to time,
edit stuff for length or whatever- really it will just depend on the
individual show & how much material we're dealing with. Fair enough?
Anyways, once yr stuff is in our hands, you won't ever want to touch
it again, so i guess it becomes our property.(ok, you got us. This is
secretly a conspiracy to economize by getting tapes we can record over.)
So where should I send my demo or whatever? Here:
Coach and 6
309 broadway
fargo, nd 58102
i'm not sure what kind of response to expect, so send in that 4
hour feedback opus while the line is short; i'd really like to spring the
whole thing. look forward to hearing from you soon.
Rock on,
DJ MG
oh yeah, feel free to include info about yrselves. Interested listeners
might like to know who you are and how you got that way. or maybe not. mg
